Continuing Education for SWAs, LSWs, LMSWs (APs/ACPs), LPCs, LMFTs,
Psychologists, LSSPs and LPAs This section
contains:
Five continuing education courses complete with tests; simply click
the desired course title listed below.
Continuing Psychology Education Inc. (CPE) is approved to provide continuing
education by the following: Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners
(Provider # CS3329); Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional
Counselors (LPC Provider number 2013); Texas State Board of Examiners
of Marriage and Family Therapists; these courses meet the qualifications
of continuing education for Psychologists, LSSPs, LPAs, and Provisionally
Licensed Psychologists as required by the Texas State Board of Examiners
of Psychologists. CONTINUING EDUCATION MADE EASY
Total Cost: Complete both courses, Subjective Well-Being (Happiness)
and Healthy Personality for $39.00 or pay the individual course price
of $25.00. The cost for Ethics, Domestic Violence, and Healthy Aging
is $59.00 per each course. An
SWA, LSW, LMSW (AP-ACP) shall accrue fifteen (15) hours of continuing
education courses as defined in Section 781.508 of the Texas Code
of Regulations; ten (10) hours may be earned through self-study; three
(3) hours must be earned in ethics which may be earned through self-study,
during any single renewal period.
An LPC shall accrue twelve (12) hours of continuing education courses
as defined in Section 681.173 of the Texas Code of Regulations; twelve
(12) hours may be earned through self-study, during any single renewal
period; three (3) hours must be earned in ethics at least every other
year and may be earned through self-study.
An LMFT shall accrue fifteen (15) hours of continuing education courses
as defined in Section 801.263 of the Texas Code of Regulations; six
(6) hours may be earned through self-study; three (3) hours must be
earned in ethics which may be earned through self-study, during any
single renewal period.
A Psychologist, LSSP, LPA, and Provisionally Licensed Psychologist
shall accrue at least twelve (12) hours of continuing education courses
annually as defined in Section 461.11 of the Texas Administrative
Code. A licensee may accrue twelve (12) hours of continuing education
earned through home-study during any single renewal period. HOW

Answer Sheet link on Home Page and either click, pen or
pencil your answers, then fax or mail the Answer Sheet to us).

Upon receipt, Continuing Psychology Education Inc. will promptly return
your Certificates of Completion by mail or fax. We will fax your Certificates
of Completion at no additional charge, simply check the box and include
your fax number on the Answer Sheet. CERTIFICATE RETURN
TIME: Certificates of Completion are promptly returned to you
by first class mail, or by fax at your request. If you do not pass
with a grade of 70% or better, then you will be asked to re-take the
test, at no additional charge. ONLINE COMPLETION:
Complete the Answer Sheet (click the Texas Answer Sheet
link on Home Page and either click, pen or pencil your answers), then
fax or mail the Answer Sheet to us. Certificates of Completion are
promptly returned to you. These online courses are completely identical
to the booklet courses you received in the mail. ACCREDITATION:
