Continuing Education for LCSWs, LSWs, CSWs, LPCs, LMFTs, (L)/CADCs and LRCs

The choice for continuing education among LCSWs, LSWs, CSWs, LPCs, LMFTs, (L)/CADCs and LRCs
These courses are approved by the New Jersey State Board of Social Work Examiners for clinical and ethics hours for LCSWs, LSWs, and CSWs, and the New Jersey State Board of Marriage and Family Therapy Examiners, which regulates professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, alcohol and drug counselors and rehabilitation counselors.
For license renewal:
Section 13:44G-6.2 indicates that LCSWs shall complete a minimum of 40 credits of continuing education per biennial period, LSWs a minimum of 30 credits and CSWs a minimum of 20 credits; five credits must be related to Ethics.
Section 13:34-15.2 states that LPCs shall complete 40 hours of continuing education and at least five of the hours must be Ethics.
Section 13:34-8.2 specifies that LMFTs shall complete 40 hours of continuing education and at least five of the hours must be Ethics.
Section 13:34C-5.1 authorizes that LCADCs shall complete 40 hours of continuing education and CADCs shall complete 60 hours; at least six hours in Ethics is required for each license type during the initial biennial period.
Section 13:34-24.2 designates that licensed rehabilitation counselors shall complete 40 hours of continuing education and at least six hours must be in Ethics.

Answer Sheet link on Home Page and either click, pen or
pencil your answers, then e-mail, fax or mail the Answer Sheet
to us).
To Send by e-mail:
The Answer Sheet will be sent via e-mail after you click the "Submit"
button on the Answer Sheet. You can also print the Answer Sheet and
send via fax or mail.
To Send by Mail:
Mail the completed Answer Sheet with a check (payable to Continuing
Psychology Education Inc.) or credit card information to:

To Send by Fax:
Fax the completed Answer Sheet, including your credit card information,
to Continuing Psychology Education Inc. at Fax #
1-858-272-5809.
Upon receipt, Continuing Psychology Education Inc. will promptly return
your Certificates of Completion by mail, fax or e-mail. We will fax
your Certificates of Completion at no additional charge, simply check
the box and include your fax number on the Answer Sheet.
TOTAL COST: Subjective Well-Being (Happiness), Healthy Personality, Healthy Aging, and Domestic Violence are $42.00 each; Ethics is $49.00.
CERTIFICATE RETURN TIME: Certificates of Completion are promptly
returned to you by first class mail, e-mail or by fax at your request.
If you do not pass with a grade of 70% or better, then you will be
asked to re-take the test, at no additional charge.
ONLINE COMPLETION: To complete the course(s) of your choice, simply
complete the Answer Sheet (click the "New Jersey Answer Sheet"
link on the Home Page and click, pencil or pen your answers), then fax, mail, or e-mail the Answer Sheet to us. These online courses are
completely identical to the booklet courses you received in the mail.
You may choose to receive your Certificates of Completion online immediately,
or later, by fax or mail.
