The choice for continuing education among MFTs, LCSWs, LEPs, and LPCCs Enjoyable, Practical, and Affordable ACCREDITATION: Continuing Psychology Education Inc. is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT # 1000067) to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and LEPs. Continuing Psychology Education Inc. maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content. These courses meet the qualifications for continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. All licensees are required to complete the minimum of 18 hours of continuing education for their first renewal and all subsequent renewals have a requirement of 36 hours. Effective July 1, 2015, licensees may gain all of their continuing education units through self-study (previously, it was limited to one-half of the total hours); similarly, licensees may obtain all of their continuing education units from online courses. Section 1887.3(d) requires completion of six hours in the subject of Law and Ethics every two-year renewal cycle. Suicide Risk, Assessment, and Intervention (6 hours) is required beginning January 1, 2021. HOW OUR SERVICE WORKS
